The Broad Museum Vinyl Handbags
We manufactured vinyl handbags for The Broad Museum, and it comes in three different designs.
The prints on these vinyl handbags are from the exhibits that The Broad Museum had/has on view. The first handbag has the print from the famous "Infinity Room", originally known as, "Infinity Mirrored Room - The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away. The artist who created the Infinity Mirrored Room is, Yayoi Kusama. Yayoi Kusama also has another exhibit with The Broad Museum called, "Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors". The Broad Museum features Yayoi Kusama's beautiful and mesmerizing artworks of the mirrored rooms. People are allowed to enter these collections of rooms and experience Yayoi Kusama's work inside. The vinyl handbag has the print of the first artwork that was on view at The Broad Museum.
The second handbag is a beautiful "Rabbit" sculpture created by Jeff Koons. The Broad Museum has many artworks created by Jeff Koons. Jeff Koons' art pieces are simply charming and the creative ideas and skills that Jeff Koons put into his sculpture pieces are amazing. The "Rabbit" that Jeff Koons made is printed on The Broad Museum vinyl handbags and it is truly iconic.
The last hangbag is a print of the artist Cindy Sherman from the "Cindy Sherman: Imitation of Life" exhibition. Cindy Sherman is known for her artistic ability to immerse herself into many personas and showcase these self-portraits as if she was indeed those characters. Cindy Sherman famously quoted, "I am trying to make other people recognize something of themselves rather than me."
The material that is used to make vinyl handbags are PVC. Vinyl handbags are very durable so it is long-lasting, and the material allows the bag to become water proof. On the side of the vinyl handbag, The Broad Museum's iconic red and white logo is stitched on a non woven label.
